Praise or Insult?

Phone call asking me to give a valedictorian speech during commencement

>>> Wah dam proud!! (But not going oso)

Listen carefully, "You're SHORTLISTED to give a valedictorian speech"

>>> Cheh... Kelefeh oni.... (Wondering how many people on the list)

After that.... "Do you know what is a valedictorian?"

>>>WTH? (If i dunno I dun even deserve to be on the list)

When I said, "Actually I'm not going", he said " OWH... that makes things much easier.... thank you, bye bye."

Praise and insults are just used as covers.

Some praise with hidden insult,

Some praise with hidden jealousy,

Some insult with hidden admiration,

Some insult with hidden rage.

Humans hid behind masks for so long,

We even hide behind words.
